Merge PDFs without watermarks
โ€” free & private

You have three contracts to send to a client. You merge them with the first Google result โ€” and the output has a giant "MERGED WITH XYZ.COM" stamped diagonally across every page. Here's how to avoid that, forever.

Why free mergers add watermarks

The dirty secret of "free" PDF tools: most of them are freemium. The free tier stamps a watermark on every page; you have to pay $9.99/month to remove it. They monetize your document.

The clean alternative

Our merge tool never adds a watermark. Why? Because it's not a SaaS โ€” it's a static website. The merge logic runs in your browser using pdf-lib. We have no incentive to deface your documents because we don't host your files in the first place.

How to merge cleanly

  1. Open the merger.
  2. Drop all your PDFs (any number of files).
  3. Drag the โ ฟ handle to reorder.
  4. Click Merge. Done.

Common merge problems & fixes

Bookmarks get lost

Our merger preserves each source PDF's outline. So if your first PDF had chapters 1-5 bookmarked, those bookmarks survive in the merged file. We also keep all link annotations.

Page sizes look inconsistent

If one PDF is A4 and another is US Letter, the merged file keeps both page sizes. If you want uniform sizing, open the result in any PDF editor and use "Page โ†’ Resize".

Password-protected PDFs

Unlock them first (we can't merge encrypted files). Use Acrobat or your favorite reader's print-as-PDF trick.

When you'd want a watermark anyway

Internal review docs. "CONFIDENTIAL โ€” DRAFT" stamps are useful when distributing early drafts. For that, use the compressor โ€” wait, no, use Adobe Acrobat for stamps. We're not building a stamp tool, but we don't judge if you want one.
